A vibrant and colorful sourdough bread that combines the tangy flavor of traditional sourdough with a fun rainbow swirl.

Ingredients

  • 500g bread flour
  • 350ml water
  • 100g sourdough starter
  • 10g salt
  • Food coloring (various colors)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix the bread flour and water until combined.
  2. Add the sourdough starter and salt, and knead the dough until smooth.
  3. Divide the dough into equal portions and color each portion with different food coloring.
  4. Layer the colored doughs on top of each other and gently roll them into a log shape.
  5. Place the log into a greased loaf pan and let it rise until doubled in size.
  6. Bake in a preheated oven at 220°C (428°F) for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Let the bread cool before slicing.
